Saturday 11th September Praise Signing with Pat Miller
We are delighted to have Pat Miller teaching our 10th monthly technique class in September. Pat has over 10 years experience of supporting
deaf students and is qualified to level 6 BSL (British Sign Language). She provides signing support to various churches and Christian events.
She is also a founding member of the CDFB having joined when it first started in 1990.
Pat says she began learning BSL in 1996 after seeing a Christian musical being interpreted by a deaf person. "I felt that this was what I was called to do."
Her heart is for deaf people to have access to local church and to wider Christian events. Her main focus is on signing in worship.
In this workshop we will learn to sign some well known Praise and Worship songs using British Sign Language (BSL). BSL is a rich, visual language
and is the first, or preferred language used by many members of the Deaf Community.
This is an open class for all abilities.
There's no charge for these classes although members are welcome to make a donation towards honouring the teachers if they want to.
Zoom login details are published in the Autumn 2020 Created 4 Dance magazine or can be e-mailed direct to members; just send an e-mail to

Led by Tom Gibson, Midlands East member & National Prayer Coordinator, this workshop will use Joshua Aaron’s Hebrew/English
version of The Blessing. Tom will lead everyone in a series of creative movements which, once learnt, we will dance together
as God’s blessing over each other, then be able to take and offer it back in our home churches.
Cost: existing members £5 or to include day membership £7. All very welcome.
If you feel able to support the work of CDFB and honour the teachers involved in the In His Pastures Zoom Workshop Event please make a

The UK Dance Blessing is now ready to share with you. The video will premiere on YouTube at 8pm on
Friday 5th June. Click on this link and set a reminder for yourselves -
Alongside the video we have created an ebook of testimonies from the dancers involved, we pray it will
impact you just as much as the video, as people share their journey of praying a blessing over our nation.
You can get your own copy of the testimony book here -
Gathering the videos together we will compile it into video for everyone to share across social media
and their networks. We want it to be an opportunity to display the vast ability of dancers, their heart
to worship Jesus and share their faith through dance and movement. During covid 19 lockdown, dance places,
workshops and performances may have been shut down, but a dancing army have continued to move in their
homes and outdoor spaces as they feel led. Dance impacts more than we know and this presents a fantastic
opportunity for many to gather and move for our God.
